Please read the document checklist below to ensure that the transfer of your vehicle goes smoothly. For selling a scrap car, you will need the following two items:

V5C Registration Certificate– You should have the V5 ready for collection with the car. Your driver will sign section 9 and hand this back to you. He/she will take the rest of the document. This should be signed by you.

Keys – Your vehicle will have been priced with the assumption that the keys will be with the vehicle at the time of collection. If this is not the case, please let us know. We will still be able to arrange collection of the car; however we may need to reduce the price slightly.

For Salvaged Vehicles the documents make up part of the value of your car and so it is much more important that you have the correct paperwork at the time of collection.

We require -V5C Registration Certificate, current and past MOT certificates, any service history you may have, all receipts pertaining to the vehicle, owner’s manual and all keys and key fobs for the vehicle.

If you don’t have any of the above documents please notify us prior to collection to avoid any complications.
